$694,950 for a 2370 sqft house with .24 acres!

So a week ago, I posted about this house in Redmond that I thought was near Microsoft. Someone commented that this was actually really far from Microsoft. Fair enough. So I took a look at map and tried to find a house that was near the fancy mall in Bellevue.

And I tried to keep the price at the high $600’s – so as to keep it comparable to a median house in Google’s zip code. Here’s what I found:

REALTOR.com: Find a Home – Listing Detail
Bellevue, WA 98004
MLS ID#: 26026236
$694,950
4 Bed, 1.75 Bath
2,370 Sq. Ft.
0.24 Acres

Single Family Property, Area: Bellevue West of Interstate 405, Approximately 0.24 acre(s), Lot is 10352 sq. ft., Year Built: 1954, View, Single story, Basement, Hardwood floors

On Monday, we’ll find a comparable house in Google’s zip code (which, btw, includes Plaxo, Intuit, Microsoft, Sportsvision, PGP, and a plethora of other famous tech companies)… Your suggestions are welcomed!

Be worried, be very worried. In addition to global warming, the dollar, and Iraq, add the housing bubble to your list of worries. This is old news for many, but the chorus of concern seems to be reaching a climax…….
