I bet I know what happened here. The owner (who btw, will not move out until 2007) thought “the houses next to mine sell for millions… why shouldn’t mine?”
Let’s take a look at the neighbors:
Oh look at that! Those houses are actually nice! Sure they have 1sqft of lawn because they’re McMansions… but still! I guess there’s a difference after all.

Looks like they think lot value is 1 million in that neighborhood.
That or they’re hoping for a Google Millionaire to come by and make an offer.

according to zillow, it sold for 1.03M. it’ll save the cost to demolish the structure atleast.

I like what it says in the listing:
“Wall to wall carpeting”
“Laundry area (Inside)”
It almosts sounds like they expected the buyer to move in and enjoy all these great features. Did the buyers even bother to step inside this shitbox? It is clear it was bought for the land, so they could put up another 4000 sq. ft. eyesore on it.
