got part way through a remodel, ran out of money, trying to get rid of the property for some kind of profit.
in the upper right pic it looks like they ripped out the kitchen wall to open up the space (outline of previous wall in the linoleum on the floor), but the wall was load bearing…so they had to put in that new giant support beam. that probably killed their budget, scared them half to death, and there could even be permit/inspection issues at this point ($$$).
