Due to the median income, the “new” paradigm will insist that the average home will cost no more than 300K, if you use the “old” rule of houses should cost no more than 3-5X your income. I threw in the 5X to be generous, to be conservative, it should only be 3X, which would create a median ceiling of 200K in Gilroy. It’s gonna get ugly, folks.
