What's the 5th most affordable home in Redwood City like?
Sorry for the lateness of this post – I wrote it up and forgot to post it!
You see, over the weekend, I thought it would be fun to go look at some open houses. And it turned out this house was open:
Redwood City, CA Homes for Sale – 652 Stanford Ave, Redwood City, 94063

Recent remodeled kitchen, new paint and carpeting. Secured front & backyard. Attached garage converted to studio w/full bathroom (unwarranted) & w/separate entrance. Kitchen appl, window coverings and washer/dryer included.
Unfortunately, I was never able to enter the home. Why? Because I couldn’t find a parking spot!
Yep – on the day I was there, every inch of the street had been taken up by either a pickup truck, an industrial truck with landscaping equipment, a trailer, or an commercial van. Heck, I could barely find the house with all those tall vehicles on the street. But when I did find it, it did look something like this:
The ad is accurate – it really does have a secured front. That fence is in the front is pretty sturdy, unfortunately it was closed so even if I had found a parking spot, I’m not sure how I would’ve visited the house. Not very inviting.
Still, this is the 5th most affordable standalone home in Redwood City. Apparently it sold in 10/2004 for $514,000 and now has a ZEstimate of $660,967! I bet by the end of the decade, this will be $1 million+.
Crud, I should’ve bought it. I was so angry at myself for missing this great opportunity, considering that right now is a good time to buy or sell real estate, that I missed posting this entry on time.
What do you think?

Looks like this one has even better weather than the one next door. I would have bought it myself.
