 Welcome to America (Av)

The offer and sales purchase history for this house is pretty wacky… can you figure out what’s going on? Here’s the zillow data interspersed with some of mine:

  • 7/7/2005: Sold for $475,000
  • 1/26/2006: Sold for $580,000
  • 10/x/2006: Offered for $450,000
  • 2/9/2007: Sold for $505,187
  • 3/x/2007: Offered for  $529,900

Huh??????

I agree with Matthew Gregory. I used to live in Sunnyvale, it was nice in the 1960′s and early 70′s. This is either fraudulant activity or there is something in the air/water out there that has caused people to lose their f—ing marbles!!

They moved the plant pot. That’s got to be worth something.

I walked through that house a couple years ago when it was being offered for (I believe) $460k- closing at $475k. It’s a mess. The previous owner gutted the place and the kitchen cabinets were just in a pile on the floor. The house is basically a box where you can walk in a big circle from room to room. I swear my 2 car garage is bigger.

The detached garage is about to fall down and full of junk. The basement was so scary the realtor was afraid and unwilling to go down and look. Oh and the back of the property has a huge looming apt. complex looking down on it.

Nothing on the property a couple of matches and some 92 octane couldn’t fix tho…

So… is now a good time to buy?
