Where can I find stolen vehicles in the Bay Area?

Mountain View Voice Mountain View Voice: Crime Watch (July 20, 2007)
Grand Theft, Linda Vista Ave/Terra Bella Ave., 7/10

Late at night, an officer spotted two cars driving very closely together on a deserted street known as a local dumping ground for stolen vehicles. When both cars stopped, the officer ran the plates and saw that one of the vehicles came up as stolen. He then detained the people in both cars.

Well, now you know! Yet another reason the Bay Area is special!

OK, OK, we get it now. Your “Bay Area is SO Special” tagline is getting worn a little thin. Do you have any others?

    I’m open to suggestions!

Dude, “where can you find stolen vehicles”? Come on down to the 85-101 interchange south of town. It’s like a damn used-car lot down here!

The best part is when the cops actually bother to ticket the cars, as though the owner just absent-mindedly parked their car in the weeds and left it there for two weeks.
