PERFECT FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS. GARAGE CONVERTED WHIT PERMIT. PLUS THIS HOUSE HAS 2 LIVING ROOMS NEAR TO SHOPPING SENTERS ON MONTERREY RD.

Indeed this is very perfect for a first time buyer. It’s even got a whit permit – those are rare.

Here’s what I would do – I’d move the kitchen into the former garage. That way during the day, I could hang a sign outside that says “Hot Lunches!”. You could cook hamburgers, burritos, teriyaki, shawarmas – whatever! Or go for a different menu and serve hot dogs, chicken bakes, pizzas, churros, and chicken salads (coughcoughCostcocoughcough). And then people could drive right up, order, pay and get their food!

Now that’s a fantastic biz opp! And just think about how that will help you pay off your mortgage faster!

Win win if you ask me.

Good investment. Check the local demographics; the area might be in need of a McDonalds or Burger King.

Who wouldn’t want their primary residence to function as a franchise?

    Another Age = “-” beauty.

One word: Temales. Ever had a real illegal-illegal temale? Those things must have crack in them, they’re so GOOD and ADDICTIVE. Why the term illegal-illegal? Because they’re cooked by an illegal in her kitchen at home, illegally. It’s the new pizza-pizza.

  3. DensityDuck Says:

Ten bucks says that the permit is a photocopied piece of paper with “THIS IS PERMIT FOR BUILD OF SPAREROOM OK?” and the address of the house handwritten on it.

  4. ex-sunnyvale-renter Says:

Hmm, it’s a “whit” permit, that means it’s from a guy named Whit, or it’s a permit to paint the house white, or something.

I’d like to make reservations for the Honeymoon Suite please…. What a dump. Who would buy this?

  6. sonarrat Says:

I know where this is because I used to use the Monterey & Senter plaza as an unofficial park and ride lot for the bus. The 72 and 73 buses run right past this house’s door, and the former terminates and idles between runs right next to it for extended periods of time.

  7. ex-sunnyvale-renter Says:

Bus riders. Hungry, hungry, bus riders ……. can we interest you in a taco for $1?

  8. Pete Says:

WTF is wrong with Realtors, perhaps they have their own covert language, because there are SOOOOOO many descriptions that lack any resemblance to English. If I ever sell a house, I am definitely giving a spelling test, perhaps the local elementary school can give me the second grade spelling bee words.

  9. New Jersey is expensive to live in? BS! Tenafly’s high schools and house prices. [Burbed.com] Says:

[...] let’s look at yesterday’s featured Bay Area house – located in the prestigious Senter Road [...]

  10. Mark Says:

“THIS HOUSE HAS 2 LIVING ROOMS”. Wow, my house only has one! At least $700K if you ask me.

  11. bub Says:

Ok now don’t want to get too excited but….
I think I may have broken the REALTWHORE CODE!

    155 “SENTER” RD

NEAR TO SHOPPING “SENTERS” ON MONTERREY RD.

    Well? Am I close?

I used to live/own in that general area, and let me tell you it’s a pit (and it IS “Senter” Road). Sold my overpriced San Jose dump 3-06 (only time in my life I’ve ever had anything approaching good timing. Happy living and owning in Portland, OR.
