Great Listing for a Great Price. Starter hm features a converted garage for extra income, permits unknown. Well taken care of with tons of parking space. Everything subject to lenders approval including commission.
Indeed there’s a ton of parking spaces. I think you can easily fit 4 more on that front yard. Maybe another 3 in the back yard. That said, I wish there were more photos to look at – I’d love to see the converted garage that would provide you with extra income.
I bet you can rent it out for $1000 a month – wow… suddenly this house is super affordable! Go for it! Cashflow baby!

And located in such a nice area too.
Bring your own machine gun and plenty of ammo.
Stock market set to open soon. I look for carnage and death on the trading floor today.
Death to the American Dream. America more corrupt and broke than Russia. Seig Heil, Jorge Bushco, el presidente…

How fun, Capitol between Alum Rock and McKee. You get a view of the light-rail tracks and the cemetery where they bury all the NorteƱo victims, not to mention all of the lowriders you’ve ever wanted to see. Ballin!

It looks like a short sale. The current owner bought it for $605K on 12/13/2005.

I can’t imagine a bank loaning $605k for this POS. The buyers must have been a couple of doctors who paid cash. Yeah, that’s it, cash buyers.

Why wouldn’t banks lend? Bay Area real estate is always a great investment as it always goes up.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a class 1 property? The front of that place is so asymmetrical I get vertigo looking at it. I think I will bid $600,000 to beat out the hordes of other savvy potential buyers. Who cares if I overbid, this house is close to the real Bay Area, it will be worth 15% more next year!!! Take it to the Bank Baby !!!

Class 1 just means that it’s a SFH.

Yes, the land is zoned as R1 (single-family), as opposed to R2 (duplex) or R3 (multi-family). And hence not as attractive for -real- investors.

The idea being that since it’s R1, you can’t tear the house down and build a four-unit condo there (selling each condo for $650K, of course!)
