Further proof that Morgan Hill isn’t in The Real Bay Area, and that you need to visit Scott Murray.
Thanks Ek.

Those people with these houses for sale should call Steve in Silicon Valley. He is a real estate genius. Just ask him, he will help you.

Whole street for sale! First I thought these are new homes. Then I noticed mailbox and christmas lights.

Come on people those are all homes owned by Scott Murray…he is the well known and famous flipper from the other Bay Area of Morgan Hill. 1….be a real estate agent. 2….buy homes on NINJA loans 3…..Flipp them and make 20-25%. 4. relist homes for less than you paid ….pricesless

I think that the people of Morgan Hill are confused - they still think they’re in the Real Bay Area.
Why, there’s only 2 3BR SFRs for sale for under $500k in the whole town!
And this, where the rents for those same places are around $2300. Goodness. When will they realize that they’re not in the Bay Area? Soon, I think, given that picture above.

There are bigger forests of signs to be found in the “real” Bay Area.

I just got back from a jog, and I saw something I found quite amusing. It was just an Intero agent’s sign. Her name… Leah Ball.
Leah “Low” Ball

Ha! But two separate realtors just this weekend assured me that the housing market is JUST FINE.

Look at yesteday’s Mercury News’ real estate section to see why Morgan Hill is not part of the “Real” Bay Area. If you missed it, here’s the link:
http://www.jasperpark.acceleratedmp.com/
New homes up for auction. $900k+ homes up for bids starting at $475k+
Instant equity or is it?
Will other builders follow suit?

What in the world makes up the “Real” Bay Area. A place no one can afford to live?

Gosh, that’s awful.
I’m in a slice of “real” BA, and the “condo complex” next to me (really a clapped-out apartment building, with, I’m guessing, granite countertops) has been nearly empty since April 2007. It makes me feel a bit sad to see the dark windows over the hopeful signs.
Not sad enough to *buy* in the building, though.
