You guys all missed it. If the picture is tilted, that means it is the hideout for the Riddler, or the Joker, or one of those other nefarious villains. That’s why it goes for the big bucks.

This place is actually a great example of the real Bay Area…it got 10 offers, one all cash, and it closed in 2 weeks at $795,000…slope and all!

They’ve put an erroneous, additional, zero on the price again. The 1978 assessment is correct in my view – remember you have to pay taxes, deal with neighbors you can’t move away from, and maintain this POS.

It’s already sold, burbed, and far more expensive than that lovely 3/2 in 94087 I found for only $600K! This is the second place you’ve picked that moved off MLS within hours of your posting it!

Looks like this place hasn’t been fixed up in a long while. It’s only assessed for (chuckle) $78,000, which means this Prop 13 cutie dates back to 1978. The only sale I could find was transferring the house to the owners’ living trust, in 1996. And there’s no first mortgage on it.

So, I can’t make any snarky comments about additional pictures, but I also love the multi-framed photo, didja catch the extra frame of the room behind the room? Maybe you can do a dolly shot and pull back from each room and find out the house is actually 4480 sq feet on a 1100 sq ft lot!

The photo is a classic example of a Trompe l’Oeil! People pay beaucoup bucks to have that sort of thing painted on their interior walls. I’ve seen pictures of elaborate landscapes painted onto closet doors. I guess it’s worthwhile; for most New Urbanist city-dwelling mice, it’s the closest to actual nature that they’ll ever get.

I like the electrical installation consisting of a junction box and conduit placed OUTSIDE the wood paneling. That’s some freakin’ class, right there.
