As another reader pointed out, the term “trolling” involves irrelevant, off-topic, or time wasting stuff. That description fits Pralay perfectly, and you’re a close second. Stop making baseless accusations. You have the same problem as Pralay in that you cannot accept a different point of view even though that position is shown to have more validity than your own opinion.

You don’t have to do what I suggest, though. It’s a free country and you can keep watering the lawns on each quote in separate posts if you wish. Your neighbors can then put up eight foot privacy fences to keep you off their lawns.

Multiple replies in the same topic makes little sense without threading, so it’s just taking up more space. And we all know they aren’t making any more space.

Regarding multiple comments, I think that’s just a my habit which was developed in other forums to quote specific line/comment I am trying to address/respond.

My take on it is that RE says a lot of things which, might appear genial, but in context are provocative, even mean, and Pralay reacts the quickest, the most often, and usually in the strongest language. P also posts 4-5 times in a row in the same topic, which makes all these arguments snowball more.

I agree that an “ignore this poster” option would make for a much more enjoyable site.

Pralay and RE:

In order for me to NOT click that option on you:

Pralay – combine your comments into one post at a time (per topic thread), stop feeding the troll, and stop reacting to the troll. While I agree with you, I still shudder each time you lose your cool.

RE – stop being the troll. Your little game of making claims you can’t support while demanding endless cites from others is tiresome. You’re usually not amusing and you’re rarely informative.

Both of you: stick to the properties under discussion like Aaron mentioned above.

Of course, what is the point of complaining about something which is not shoved upon you? It’s not telemarketer ringing your phone constantly at your dinner time. You can always ignore comments. I can complain about 100 things about other Burbed visitors (probably including you). But I don’t see any point for that.
