Which photo of this million dollar Redwood City house looks better?

I probably should’ve posted these a few days earlier… but nonetheless this is still rather interesting:

Well, what’s wrong with this house you might be wondering? After all, it looks pretty good. The garage is even a little sunken – that’s kind of neat.

Well… let’s take a look at a slightly different picture:

Wow. What a difference. I’m not photography expert, so I’d love some professional input here, but this is rather interesting. From a mini-mansion, this house now looks like it’s built for people like Yao-ming: Tall and skinny. Which is a good thing! After all, who doesn’t want to reduce their footprint on this beautiful planet of ours. 2100 sqft – of very skinny sqft. Maybe they should’ve used a new unit of measurement for this house!

Also, notice the difference in colors. What’s up with that? Any color experts here?

Is the second one, which I believe is the Realtor preferred one, better? Or worse?

Regardless, this is now $50k off – so it’s a great deal no matter which picture you like more. Go get it!

(Thanks to the very anonymous Burbed reader for this find.)

Nevermind, just saw the $50,000 off price in the description – I can’t read.

I also like how they crammed the giant kitchen appliances in a space too small.

Also, the garage does not have a window for the cars!

    Looks like another Chameleon house.

Or may be Shrek used to live here.

Definitely a monstor, the garage is the oddist part, can you even fit a mini in there? It is smaller than a front door.

Very weird house indeed. Here’s a weirder one my friend showed me:

:) This one looks like someone’s log cabin without log.

My friend has a similar structure on his property in a remote place near Mount Shasta, which he mainly uses for vacation. But after building the roof (similar to this one), he realized that it was going to be expensive. He bought a RV that does not run, towed it there and pushed it under the roof. That’s his vacation place – RV under roof.

I can’t believe anything in Redwood City is worth this much, and must again ascribe the published price to a decimal point error – there’s an extra zero in the price.

Redwood City is where I joined a boxing club and quit because there was too much fighting going on.

From drhousingbubble, a little glimpse into your future –

For those of you thinking we are at a bottom, there are futures traders that would like to disagree. In fact, the futures markets are pricing in a 28.3% further drop for Los Angeles by November of 2010. The housing futures contracts are also pricing in 24.8% of that drop in the next year! You may want to take a look at some of the other housing futures over at housing derivatives that compiles a list periodically. Here’s a little rundown of the April 2008 published future prices:
    November 2010
    Las Vegas: -28.9%
    Miami: -21.9%
    New York: -15.2%
    San Francisco: -25.6%

The picture’s been compressed vertically. Look at the outside lights.

Wow. They let that house sit on MLS for a month and a half, and moss grew all over it. So they cut the price… and then raised it a day later.

The 2006 price was $815,000. Sounds about right for an east of Flea Street property.
