if you read those posts a bit more closely (and go down the thread a ways), the idea of it being the same poster is pretty convincing.

I did go thru whole thread. I still strongly doubt. Vu knows numbers well (probably due to the fact that he is a finance guy) and can put them in context while making his argument. His rebuttals are to-the-point (although I disagree with his point). He does not BS or ask counter questions to avoid or get away from the original point. And don’t forget he said “RE only goes up” argument is crap too.

And don’t forget Vu never claimed he has Porsche.

It’s tough to please everybody, but I do appreciate Pralay for being fair about this.

Honestly, you guys are making too much mystery and myth out of me. I can just tell you in straightforward manner: I am not Burbed, I am not a realtor, I’m also not Vu (don’t you have to be Vietnamese to be a Vu?). I am really just an average Silicon Valley tech guy. Does that sound like too much status?

What I’m trying to show is that an average guy can make it in Silicon Valley. An average guy does not need to be priced out. It just takes some fundamental understanding of real estate, and a shift away from the ‘Poor Dad’ mindset that many people cling to.

Personally, my guess is that RealEstater is Vu from this thread:

burbed shouldn’t have sent me to that yelp discussion. Not only is it an epic quagmire, but b’s showing a very different persona over there than here. The upbeat civic booster is replaced with the jaded homedebtor who has had it with the status seekers.

So far Vu seems a lot smarter than RE, and also claims to be in finance.
