I’d imagine Brothel 2.0 would be to Brothel what software is to hardware (or what social networks are to basic websites). That place got busted because it failed to adapt to the new sex paradigms. I bet they weren’t even founded by a VC.

don’t know what that means, and am all atwitter. What is “uncommon,” in terms of incidence of brothels? One per 5,000 residents? One per 1,000? One per five? Renter4, you know HotPads revamped their site, adding heatmaps for things like the rent ratio? Well now they can add brothels per 1000 residents! Talk about a heat map!

This is old but true news:

After the honeymoon, it was announced that Conger was seeking an annulment because Rockwell had misrepresented himself. The annulment was finalized on April 5. Rockwell claimed to be a millionaire real estate investor, but in fact he only dabbled in real estate as well as screenwriting and standup comedy. Rockwell’s past was also checkered by numerous restraining orders filed by former girlfriends and roommates. After the show aired, Conger made numerous public comments about how she was offended by Rockwell’s forcibly kissing her on stage, that they never consummated their marriage, and how the entire episode went against her morals.

Burbed you highlighted the wrong sentence from that article. The most important point was:

While brothels aren’t uncommon in Santa Clara County, investigating them can be difficult because owners tend to move their base of operation often, Sgt. Mike Paresa said.

“We often find out that they stay in a place for two months or so and then move,” he said.

Don’t you get it? The reason Cupertino home prices keep going up is because the madames have to move their businesses every two months. They probably check the Murky news real estate section to see when the real estate transactions are printed, and presto, time to flip the house again. Yowza, that is some sweet commission action.
