Great price in Millbrae. Currently use as a 3bd home with dual pane windows and newer appliances. 3-4 car parking tandem. Few steps to playground, few blocks to shools, restaurants and all conveniences. Located close to BART/Amtrak Millbrae station. Very motivated sellers. This is a better alternative to condo living. Millbrae school district!!

For now this has 3 bedrooms - but actually, it could easily be a 4 or 5 bedroom is what this description says to me. And it’s got 3-4 car parking so you can easily run a parking service for near by SFO! But more importantly is the fact that this is near the famous BART/Amtrak Millbrae station. From there you can catch regular Amtrak service to all other parts of the nation. Or something like that.

Hey, it’s better than a condo! All 1975 sqft of land will be yours!

But finally, let’s not forget the fabulous Millbrae school district. Hey school district fetishists! How does this stack up to the Cupertino powerhouse?

Why has this been on the market for 264 days? Sheesh - those lazy renters.

    Must not be that great of a price if its been sitting for that long. By the way- will someone at least get out some roundup and get rid of the weeds in the sidewalk?

  2. Herve Says:

    char s[100];

    realtor_spin(s, 100, “weeds in the sidewalk”);

    printf(s);

    If I run it here it prints “lawned front area”.

  3. rick Says:

    Better yet, this can be used as a 10 story parking lot, a VIP lounge with strippers serving rich people making a stop to the RBA. I can almost visualize it.

  4. sonarrat Says:

    Those are weeds in the front yard because nothing else will grow in the choking atmosphere of jet and diesel fumes. This is one area that will never get any better than it is now, purely because of the environmental factors around it.

    sonarrat,

    You’re right. Moral of the story: Don’t try to save money on real estate. Buy something good, not something cheap.

    The Realtor does not seem to be familiar with the area.

    Millbrae does not have any Amtrak station. It has a BART/Caltrain station.

    When did Caltrain become Amtrak?

  7. sonarrat Says:

    Caltrain is operated by Amtrak, though if you go to Amtrak’s website and try to book a trip from San Jose to San Francisco, you’ll be offloaded in Oakland and put on a bus.

  8. crossroads Says:

    if you look there are sometimes photos of amtrack trains on caltrain tracks.

    my question is where all those freight trains go to and from. are they all going to south san francisco or something?

  9. madhaus Says:

    Aww, what a cute house. It reminds me of one I saw recently. Oh yeah, a triplewide.

    They go to LB Railco in San Francisco. Their main charge? Contaminated soil from the city’s eastern waterfront for use as landfill material. Go figure.

  11. anon Says:

    So motivated that after 241 days unsold we still think our house located in the anus of san francisco is worth over a half of a million dollars.

  12. Name Says:

    The last time this house sold before the Glass-Steagall Act was repealed was in 1994 for $139.5K. Anyone think it’ll be worth more than that in a few years?
