Huh? All I see is a fantastic looking bridge – very zen in East San Jose!

Maybe a closer examination of the photos may be required.

Uh. Interesting use of orange and lime(?) green. It totally has this tropical feel that makes me think of Cuba – how fitting for the street name.

I like the plant. It’s an interesting study in isolation.

And check it out, you don’t need to move to Belmont to have granite everywhere - you can save a few hundred thousand and live in East San Jose to get the same effect!

At this price, I don’t know how you could afford not to buy this house!

Rental prices for apartments in The City, which had been skyrocketing for nearly two years, fell in October, as an avalanche of pink slips across San Francisco weighed on average household incomes and led freshly unemployed workers to abandon city living, new figures show.

The average rent for a one-bedroom unit advertised on craigslist.org fell 2.4 percent in one month to $2,293, according to the city controller’s October economic barometer report, released this week. That price, however, was still 3.7 percent higher than at the same time last year.

San Francisco rents started falling in October and continued to fall in November, according to Victor Calanog, senior economist at national research firm Reis Inc.

OMG. What is going on here?

If this isn’t a sign of the apocalypse, I don’t know what is.

No no… the world is not ending. This is clearly just a blip. I think the real reason is that renters are flocking out to buy up some of those sweet deals in Redwood City, Manteca, and other places.

Yeah. That must be it.

Well kept and maintained by the owner indeed. From these pictures, it’s pretty clear that’s the case.

In particular, I really like the symmetry between the front of the house and the rear of the house. The front is paved over, so that you can park all your cars there. The back? Why, it’s Highway 101 – where cars are also parked for good parts of the day.

If this isn’t artistic genius, I don’t know what is!

There we go. After yesterday’s brief scare, I was fortunately able to find a more reasonably priced house in Belmont. PHEW.

But wait… there’s more!

1- I love the idea of a 200+ sun room. But… uh… wouldn’t 200 degrees be kind of warm?

2- I love the name Reposo. It sure sounds like another words… I just can’t put my finger on it.
