I guess Santa Clara is now a “resort-like” community.  I guess if being pinched between Lawrence and El Camino is resort-like, then this is a home run…

Hey isn’t it? It’s right near KoreaLand and IndianTown. And the VW dealership. Just look at all those features – including Security and Privacy. It really is just like a resort. And at an incredibly low price no less.

Move in today, throw in some soothing music – boom, you’ve got your revenue stream already. “Welcome to Halford Resorts” – catchy name if you ask me!

  1. Martin Marietta Says:

    It’s down to $179,900.

  2. San Matean Says:

That’s the most spacious 679 sq ft I’ve ever seen.

  3. jj Says:

What would such a place rent for, $900/month?

  4. sv_newbie Says:

    $179k means around $770 PITI.
This place will at least rent for $900.

It’s not bad. It’s not on El camino or VW dealership. Area is near rentals and mobile homes but what do you expect for this price?

If I were single techi with no future (aka Dilbert), I wouldnt mind buying it.

  5. sv_newbie Says:

my PITI didnt consider $330 HOA.. damn – 10% overpriced

  6. Whango Tango Says:

330 HOA? Good Lord, do they hire armed guards to patrol the place?

  7. nomadic Says:

Cool, it’s behind the Big Lots and drive-thru Starbucks! (er, Star Bucks!)

  8. nomadic Says:

It’s a REO. Love the price history!

  9. A. Lewis Says:

$150k it will probably sell. $120k would sell it immediately.

But it’d be smarter to rent it if you wanted to live in that spot for some reason.

I hadn’t realized that side of Lawrence was still Santa Clara, not Sunnyvale. It’s like yesterday’s place across SCU that’s actually on a SJ address.

I didn’t know for a while either. I thought Santa Clara starts from Lawrence. Later found that the “Star Bucks” and Kohl’s (other side of El Camino) have Santa Clara address.

I thought someone was talking about granite. Looks like those tiles were not changed since 1989.

I am surprised that they did not mention about walking distance to Champs Elysées.

About a week ago this fine property came on the market for $160,000. I’m not buying yet, but it looks like a nice deal in spite of backing to Aborn Rd aka Unofficial Evergreen Freeway.

Isn’t that near India Cash & Curry? That place rocks, they have Vimal boxed foods and pictures of God.

  17. I_love_SV Says:

too bad my wife wouldn’t go for a place like this… This is definitely within my budget.

  18. rick Says:

You can have 2 bedroom and a couple more hundred sqf in San Jose for that price right now, unless this is a 800 school area it is not worth the price.
