It is an interesting history, but being a short sale the list price really doesn’t matter since the bank has to approve any offer.

Exactly. The prevalence of short sales on the market is one of the biggest problems, because two things have to happen: 1) find a buyer who is willing to wait months for a sale that may not happen, and 2) have a bank that will approve the package. And they’re not in the business of losing money, so they will drag their feet until they’re worn down to the bone.

I lived in Milpitas for a year. I was way over by the hills, but man it was still rank. The cows grazing in the pasture on Piedmont Road didn’t help.
