Based on the missing kitchen and the remnants of various things in the bathtub, my suspicion is that somebody picked up their meth lab and vacated.

All that is being said is just not true. Not funny at all, no one is laughing. I live next door, and realtors that have come by have never had to were armour, etc, nor was it ever used as a meth lab. It was a nice young family who got the wrong mortgage company and got jacked up. Not uncommon to have vandalize occur for vacant properties.
