Not surprising since this is in the “you’ve got a purdy mouth” area of Campbell….

I was just gonna say, compound with tons of junk cars, odd shacks, junk, human bones……

    Then something…

    PROFIT!

  3. Pralay Says:

It’s not just this property. Its neighbor property is also competing for the title The Best Junkyard of Campbell. Satellite view of both properties together.

  4. nomadic Says:

Looks like the neighbor already has his compound set up. Maybe they ought to see if anyone is living outside?

On the other side of the bay, a big house is coming on the market. Anyone a Green Day fan?

actually that location looks cool. it is on a Drainage Canal!!! you could have your own regatta! I tried to make the street view guy jump into it but he refused.

seriously, if you go through the neighborhood via street view you can see a lot of the old orchard trees in people’s yards. and the yards are big. and it’s not a busy street. in fact, even from the aerial view you can see the giant cracks in Hazelwood that would keep you from speeding. is the “Purdy Mouth” section of Campbell actually dangerous? if not, I can think of worse types of neighbors.

just across the drainage canal there appears to be a much more upmarket neigborhood. I wonder if they keep watch on the canal to make sure no-one crosses over at night to siphon gas.

if it weren’t for the one junkyard neighbor, I’d see potential. of course I’ve always wanted to clean up a superfund site, using mycoremediation.

he refused, eh, karen? must be google mind-control
    :-)

  7. sfbubblebuyer Says:

If that canal were bigger and with good water flow, it could be your body disposal. Wash ‘em right out to see! Nothing to snag on in a concrete canal!

  8. DreamT Says:

These street view guys can be really fussy, especially as you get closer to the RBA section of the map, they get the attitude.

    Sold for $300K.
