Redwood and oak cottage style hideaway. Redwood walls and cabinets and ceilings. Oak floors. Charming house and location. This oldie but goodie is a delight to see. Bring imagination and remodeling ideas for the kitchen. Good roof and updated bathroom. Friendly neighborhood with lots of trees near Stanford, shopping, etc.
$885,000. Yep, Palo Alto is now affordable.
At 684 sqft, this house is perfect for a student who has just moved here from China, with bags full of money. Nothing says “Americana” quite like this house – and let’s face it, it certainly does have a rustic charm to it.
At $1294 per square foot, you can brag about this to all your classmates – “Did you know that each square foot of my house is equivalent to 2 contract free iPhones?” Booyah that’ll score the ladies.
And, it’s easy to clean.
So buy it today for your soon-to-be Stanford student. It’s a better investment than a dorm, which is throwing money away. And, besides, if you don’t buy it soon, someone will.

It looks like one those kit cabins you get at Home Depot to store lawn mowers and rakes in.

LOL, good one bob!
Redwood walls and cabinets and ceilings. Oak floors.
It’s like living in a tree!
Bring imagination and remodeling ideas for the kitchen.
In addition to bags of money, I have to bring my imagination too? For $1,294/sf you have to be brain-dead.

Sounds like someone’s got a bad case of angry renter syndrome!!!!

So my buddy and I are betting on the sale of this house. I say it will sell above 675 and he says below. How do we check the final sale price? It’s Palo Alto. It may even sell for a higher price than this.

Check Redfin about a month after it goes off the market. Just bookmark it and keep checking back.

I think my parent’s shed back in Michigan is bigger than that place!

I’m surprised Burbed didn’t mention it, but this house is also walking distance to Facebook, you can even make money by charging for parking.
Seriously I don’t think it would sell for that much, the lot is rather small, usually the houses that sell for a lot per square foot have lots above 6000sqft.

Too bad it isn’t safe.
Now can we please talk about cars?

Suicide, robbery and now homicide. What’s happening to Palo Alto?

Well, my car was “born from planes” or some such nonsense.

Here one more with SIX 9s. Price history is more interesting.

Priced right no doubt.
I wonder why they didn’t add the 99 cents? Every penny counts in this economy when you’re a broke homeowner.
December 15th, 2009 at 12:28 am
Anon,
You are full of negativity. It’s important for you to take a step back and assess the situation from a neutral perspective. In last six months this owner made lot of money in stock market run-up. That’s why he does not need that 99 cents anymore.
