Uh oh! I feel a marble columns post coming on!

Nothing says money and power quite like marble columns, and this house has columns. I love how they support the window… like an eye keeping watch over the neighborhood, and the soaring values of sleepy little San Carlos.

And what’s this? 500 square added. Wosers!

But… what fascinates me is “seller will install french door from master bedroom to back yard”.

Uh. What’s going on here? Can anyone explain?

Already off the market. You know what kills me seeing posts like this? Its that these are almost all pedestrian, boring suburban houses. All the seller does it install granite countertops and stainless appliances. If that’s what really sells the house then those must be some extremely expensive appliances.

Sounds like “seller” has been procrastinating and needed the realtard to nag him in the listing. I was thinking this was a REO because of the recent sale, but it turns out this is an optimistic flipper. Previous sale (in 2006) was for $705k.

One more thing – PropertyShark lists this house at 980sf with 2BR/1BA. Maybe it was actually an ambitious flipper that added the extra square footage.

    Everything’s better with columns!

Bet the master bedroom is missing the door to the yard, and they bought a “French” door and just haven’t the time to install it. That’s good for $50k off.

With these appliances, carpets, artwork, countertops, etc there’s a huge multiplier. $20k in house bling = $100k more in price.

Bad News: Too bad, we missed the open house this summer.
Good News: We will be able to attend open house in August 2010 – after French door installed.

We missed the open house? Shucks.

I don’t know about you guys but I don’t have anything better to do than waste my weekends looking at overpriced properties being told incorrect economic advice by high school dropouts.

    Bummer.
