Wow. Now you too can live like a King – on Queens Ct in San Carlos. Just look at all the castle-esque features. It’s got a turret with tall narrow windows to allow light to enter, but prevent angry peasants from storming your library and stealing your vintage copy of Java in a Nutshell. It’s got what could easily be converted into a drawbridge, to protect the sanctity of your home. The interior pictures reveal that it is classic, simple. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this castle is fit for either the King of Spain or the King Thailand – great for those looking to open their own Hotel for Kings(TM).

Masterpiece it certainly is. At at this incredibly low price for a castle, you’ll have plenty of money to add an X10 based boiling oil cauldron to pour on those below, build up a moat and fill it with piranhas, and eventually host your own, virtual fox hunts (involves GPS, GSM, GeForce, Google, and other fun technologies.)

You’re the king at… oh wait, that’s taken. Live like a king on g Queens Ct! (Now… if only it had some marble columns!)

The seller reduced the price too much, should have asked for $2,888,888 and the offers would pour in.

  2. CB Says:

    should have asked for $2,888,888

This evil Realtor just multiplies the sq ft by $666.

A home is NOT an investment:

I don’t agree with all of Shiff, but he’s right here.

Joe – my old and I mean OLD neighbors in Costa Mesa could have told us that, and told me that, more than a decade ago. The folks had memories of California BEFORE the Depression and Mr. Butler had been in on D-Day.

They were alway telling me, a house is where you live, long term you’d break even and that was about it, on real estate.

The simplistic book The Wealthy Barber has very good real estate advice, it ain’t rocket surgery.

Did you guys see the hidden message in Schwarzenegger’s latest veto? It’s bizarre.

Does this mean I could buy a house in Detroit for free? (There would be property taxes, of course.)

    Home buyer tax credit:

The Senate plan would also expand the program by offering a tax credit of up to $6,500 to current homeowners willing to buy a new home, provided they have lived in their current home for five consecutive years out of the last eight.

    Nomadic,

That is correct. People have bought houses for a dollar in Detroit. You might not be able to live in it though.

I believe there are no large grocery stores left in Detroit inner-city. The few mom-and-pop shops that are left have to rely on armed security guards. You can imagine what state the public schools and utilities would be in. I am sure the meth labs are one of the few bright spots in this beat up city. (Note: I am being a little too sarcastic)
