Thanks to Burbed reader Mabel for this freaky find!

It’s the day before Halloween and this is the perfect house.

Imagine you had this house. It surely must look like it does in these photos because… well… Realtors never lie.

Just think about how awesome it would be for the kids that have their parents drive them over to good trick or treating. Watch as they step out of the Land Rover, eye the house. Their eyes widen. The mouths gape. They’re stunned. How does this house possibly exist! What kind of evil lurks behind!

They muster all the braveness they have to walk up to the house. How is it that all shadows have suddenly disappeared? Are they still alive? Are they dead?

As they get closer to your door, they take out their iPhones to call their mom waiting in the Land Rover to let her know they’re ok (but really it’s to let themselves know that they’re still alive.) They knock on the door.

Tada!

It’s just you!

And then you reward each of them with a cupcake from Sprinkles.

Happy Halloween everyone! Stay safe!

Hey, right around the corner from our favorite community, Gable’s End! Which, by the way, is now billing itself as a “#1 best seller” on the advertising that faces the freeway.

$898,000…even more special and lucky :)

  3. Herve Estater Says:

The price was changed to $888,000 first and then became $898,000. Isn’t 888 the luckier?

Land Rover, iPhone… You don’t see many of these in Mountain View. You were probably thinking of Palo Alto.

Who did they lock in the closet by pushing the twin bed up against the doors?

I am very disappointed that Burbed did not feature Gables End this year – since 4 homes left. While driving on 101 it seems they still have 4 homes available.

Burbed, 2009 is not over yet. You still have time.

Where the pride of ownership glows, there would be no shadow…

Otherwise, high dynamic range imaging is just a passing fad in digital photography….

What is this, the Poltergeist house?

  8. Real Estate Agent Says:

This is somewhat expensive considering the market trends in Mountain View: http://www.movoto.com/statistics/ca/mountain-view.htm

#8 – wow that IS disturbing. Not only is the median price falling, but the median SIZE is getting appreciably smaller too! :-O
