Thanks to Burbed reader tridba for this find.
Actually this was sent in back in September, but I just found it while cleaning out my junk mail folder.
That’s unfortunate because this house is now pending without release.
I’m sure you could probably swoop in and try to place an offer that’s 2x above listing price to try and score, but it’s probably too late.
After all, this is the greatest street surrounding Schallenberger Elementary – not just a good street, the greatest. History books have been written about this street and how it conquered would be contenders. Those weakling lanes, avenues, courts, and drives were no match for this street.
Tenaya. It’s the street of champions. Without this street, your children are at risk.
So please, think of the children. Start camping out on Tenaya now so that you can get a house on the great street of what must be the greatest elementary school in the history of mankind.

We are the Champions
I’ve paid my dues
Time after time
I’ve done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I’ve made a few
I’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I’ve come through
We are the champions, my friends
And we’ll keep on fighting – till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
Cause we are the champions – of the world

This house costs more than the Detroit Silverdome.

It also implies that it’s the greatest street in Willow Glen, which I always thought was Lincoln. I guess I was wrong. A suburb in South San Jose is way better than downtown WG.

The nicest area in Willow Glen is probably around Pine & Cherry, which incidentally is where I got into an accident driving a BMW shuttle van. The manager was delivering a customer’s 7-series to his house on that street. They wouldn’t even do that for the Z8 owner.

Where is WillowGlenner when we need her? Speaking of which, is the rental market red hot or white hot these days?

sonarrat – we always called that the “Pontiac Debt Dome.” Just an affectionate nickname bestowed by the locals when it was built.

He is too busy processing pile of applications for his rentals in VC capital of the world. Startups in Silicon Valley are going IPO left and right (I know this is the only IPO in Silicon Valley in last two years, but this is just the beginning of IPO flood. Watch out!). As a result, rental market in the south bay is tightening by the week. Just as an example, as WillowGlenner said, a house in Campbell used to rent for $2K-$2100 as late as late 2007. In August 2008 it was renting for $2700-$2800. Any guess how much it is renting now? You can’t rent there anymore. They are as priceless as Van Gogh’s paintings. Now, all you get in Campbell is townhome for $3700.

Of course, a cursory review of the map reveals even more realtor hyperbole. Tenaya — although nearby — doesn’t really “surround” Schallenberger. Technically, one of the greatest streets surrounding Schallenberger would probably have to be either Cottle Avenue, Koch Lane, Avalon Drive, or Gerald Way. But in either case, WGx invites you to decide:

Pralay,
Have you paid your rent?
November 21st, 2009 at 12:19 pm
And have you paid your rent to the bank like a good indentured servant?
