> One day I’ll just be like: ” Well, I moved to Austin” and you all can gasp with disbelief.

I think Real Estater will move to Texas before you do.

Yes... again I've learned that being a tad too honest on here has a price. Everything I mentioned did in fact happen. Moral of the story: Tell the story when it happens or after the fact. Its probably more devastatingly dramatic anyway. One day I'll just be like: " Well, I moved to Austin" and you all can gasp with disbelief.

Whatever, guys. I was actually thinking of the time he decided not to put in an offer because the realtor told him there were already multiple offers over $1M but then it sold for less than that.

"Crying Austin man" was hilarious! A "best of" moment.

To be fair, RE told us other stories too and those are not boring. For example, Crying Austin Man.

Sure beats RE’s boring stories of being outbid on properties every weekend.

Actually, that's RE's alter ego SV Shopper (his losing bid 1, losing bid 2, losing bid 3....so on). I am surprised that he did not show up last weekend to tell us that he lost another bid. Probably, The Big-On-Education Wife grounded him for losing too many bids.
> I’ve learned my lesson not to reveal plans on this site.

I found it quite entertaining: you building the hype with all your talks of moving to Texas, excitement reaching its climax with your job offer... and then you accept another offer in the Bay Area and stay here.

I salute you.
