This single family residence has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and is minutes away from downtown Mountain View. Easily accessible to highway 101.
Knock knock! Can you hear it? No? Well that’s because you live in a rental and there’s probably too much noise.
But if you could hear it, it would be the sound of “oporunity” knocking!
Now sure there’s no interior pics, that’s sort of bummer – but it’s mountain view. And it’s only $760k! Hello what a steal!
And just check out your access to 101!
You’ll definitely be able to see it all the time! Talk about easy! And look at all the construction across the street/freeway. You know what they’re building on Moffet Federal Air Field right? Don’t tell anyone – they’re building White House: West. You heard it hear first.
Let’s face it, the President needs to have a residence in the heart of America’s most intelligent, most sushi place. Once Obama moves across the street – CHA CHING! Watch as your property value soars.
Just keep it on the down-low ok? You can thank me later!

Sold in January 2006 for $670,000. The Zestimate is $656K.

Funny post, burbed, but the construction across the freeway is finished. Looks like a giant apartment complex.
I wonder what P32 zoning means? With such a small lot, there isn’t a lot you could do with it anyway… hey, how OLD is that pic you posted? The Google views on Redfin show the crap next door has been torn down too. Replaced with brand new townhouses. So maybe you could find a fool to buy it to live in after all.

I had to go to Mountain View the last few days to help a friend move, and I noticed one thing I’d never noticed before when I was up there all the time. Paved lawns. Paving everything that isn’t already covered by the house and driveway.
But no one has the class to paint the cement green, and add some plastic flamingos, what the hell’s up with that?

No time to manicure a lawn or do landscaping when you’re working all the time paying off a huge mortgage. The joys of homeownership in the wannabe RBA…
March 5th, 2010 at 4:39 pm
Joe, exactly the opposite in fact. The smaller the mortgage, the less manicured/landscaped the front lawn. Tour East-side San Jose if you’re not convinced. So this must be a sign that Mountain View mortgages are getting smaller.

It’s a sign that the home has an Asian owner, that’s all.

For whomever is interested, the Draft City of Santa Clara 2010-2035 General Plan has just been released. Housing is Appendix 8.12 at a cool 150 pages.

SmellingCat,
When inflation hits, you know who will be in trouble?
March 6th, 2010 at 3:12 am
people with assets and littler earning capability?

Real Excretor – You.
March 6th, 2010 at 8:44 pm
SmellingCat,
Inflation would make my mortgage debt worthless; it would also cause home prices go up, thereby increasing rent. I can’t think of any way I can lose with inflation.

Nothing like RE race-baiting (as usual). Just waiting to harp about his own personal worth or telling tales about starting his “fortune” back in the ancient times.
Dude, I like the “dumblaw” moniker on my last post. You teaching your kids about flat earth?
PS Moderator, you going to punish me or RE first for baiting? I think his Asian comment here speaks for itself.

#13 – do you believe everything a realtard tells you? Best deal in PA? A 3000 sf lot? For $700k. One bedroom and one bathroom. Sure, it looks nice for what you get, but you sure don’t get a helluva lot for probably $1,000/sf. There are probably 20 other homes for a better value in the area.

#14 – Moderator is enjoying his/her Sunday away from computers, like normal, decent people would.

That area of Mountain View is the worst and dumpiest part of the whole town. The freeway is probably the most agreeable neighbor.

In response to #2, nomadic, I found P32. It’s Planned Community/Precise Plan, and the 32 refers to Evandale Avenue.
