Charming and open, almost new appliances, with permitted converted garage, this home is bigger than the ordinary Mardell Manor home, could be in-law quarters with separate entrance, full bathroom and large closet. Flooring is combination carpet and tiles, plenty of light. A small room off the living room makes a nice office. Nice open yard with sprinklers.
Now this is a steal. It’s got a permitted converted garage, it’s got sprinklers, it’s even got an air conditioner in the second photo!

So yes… very generous owners are giving away houses in the bay area. Just look around and you’ll see them, you greedy bastard.

Adverse possession. Interesting loophole. My uncle almost got away with cheating his siblings out of their inheritance with that little trick. (Not that it was worth a whole lot beyond its sentimental value.)

Cupertino Below Market Rate (BMR) Housing Program

The City of Cupertino required that 15% of all new construction be affordable to households below 120% of the County median income. Rental units are affordable to very low and low-income households while ownership units are affordable to median and moderate-income households.
