Thanks to Burbed reader Eric for this find.
Eric really liked the fact that this was stated to be minutes to 280/85. Let’s check that!
Why yes! Yes it is! And that’s a very desirable neighborhood! Heck! You could walk to 85/280!
It’s a good thing this house has an oversized backyard!

Right, there’s plenty of open space behind the house!

And I’m sure nobody would notice (or complain) if you move the fence a few feet.

Look at all those pools – This is LUXURY housing.

This place has it all!
1. Real Cupertino skoolz
2. Oversized Power Lines over the “Oversized back yard.”
3. Railroad tracks
4. Not just one, but two busy highways
5. An asking price under $1M (only $600 per square foot)
The problem, however, is that it is just outside of the RBA.

All that and for only $599/sqft to live near the highway?

Hey it could be worse. I remember touring this place and it’s in the shadow of a HUGE water tower! Imagine how jealous your neighbors will be when the Big One hits and you have enough water stored to wash your Porsche every day for the next three years! And it better be worth it, because you’re never going to see the sun after 3 pm. Ever.

Boring house.

Since money is no object in the RBA, why would anyone buy this house when another one is so much better?

You know what’s wrong with that house, Herve? Somebody drank most of the wine already.

that one somehow reminds me of the end of Indiana Jones and the last crusade…

DT, I’m thinking of a completely different film. The first photo of Groomer’s “better house” reminds me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Since money is no object in the RBA, why would anyone buy this house when another one is so much better?
No kidding! In ten years you can have about $2M with the featured house, and with your “better” house you can have over $12.5M!

Why is it important that it be near De Anza? I wouldn’t highlight that if I were the realtard. With those excellent cupertino schools, your kids will be recruited by Stanford and Harvard. De Anza is where the losers from the Campbell union school district go.
