Now, granted, San Carlos had to eliminate its police force and outsource it to the county, but still, have you seen house prices in San Carlos lately? Woo! It’s back to $8xx per square foot levels! Welcome back to the Real Bay Area San Carlos!
And just look at this amazing blurry house. Now you’ve even got the Real Bay Area swagger! Nothing says RBA like a listing that says “buyer, you’re my BITCH”. I love the lack-of-interior photos attitude.
Yo go San Carlos. You truly are the city of good living now.

It only took two days for a price reduction:
“Jul 12, 2010 Price Changed $625,000 — MLSListings #81034182
Jul 10, 2010 Listed $790,000 – MLSListings #81034182″
I’m guessing the over-bidding should bring it right back up to the $790k.

$470K variable mortgage, purchased at $585 in 2004!

There is no variable mortgage in RBA. Smart people take only 30 year fixed.

Let’s assume 6% total sales fees and expenses. Of course that does not include the time necessary to sell, but let’s ignore that.
$585k/.94 = $622k for zero profit. Currently rounded up and listed at $625k–is this close enough to call no profit, even if the final sales price is a full price offer?
Oh, that’s right, we all know that the over-bidding will take this right up where it needs to be.
I’m guessing that the street is too busy. Or maybe it needs light bulbs? What else could it be?

Is it wrong side of Middlefield? If so, it is “soon pending”.

Focus.

Soon pending doesn’t count. Coffee is for closers. Really smart people use 15 year loans at most.
