Thanks to Burbed reader Herve for this find!
If there’s something we can all agree on here at Burbed, it’s that adding columns will make any home look classier. And this is a great example. Just look at how those columns make this Los Altos Hills home, feel as if it were in Pompeii! It’s like whoa! Did I just take a flight to Rome? How did I get here? And how are there Palo Alto Schools here in Rome too?
The question I sort of wonder is: what kind of art collection would a potential buyer of this house have?
Feel free to submit links to your examples in the comments. I’m thinking… art from here!

I think this print would add to the color scheme

Are columns the new “pink house” for burbed? This house sure has a butt-load of them; you couldn’t swing a cat without hitting several.

Has anyone else installed Firefox 3.6.17 and have the format of this site become fubar? It looks all right with IE…

#1 – are you trying to install a virus on people’s computers?
this house would have really appealed to me – at age 7, when I was into collecting shells and loved the tropical ones with wild colors.

These guys clearly need a cawlhum subsidy program as they have insufficient cawlhumnitude! I see several areas of the house that could use more.

For 3.7M that tile grout in the kitchen better be sealed.

Whoa, the thumbs are MIA viewing the site in Chrome. The number of Likes and Dislikes are still there, just the thumbs themselves aren’t.
I think it’s pretty danged funny that burbed and I scheduled columns posts independently.

The agent’s name is perfect for this house. On the market 393 days, $1.8M in price reductions… (Seufferlein/suffering)

Seufferlein is also listed as one of the selling agents for Villa Florentine.

Awesome, this place is now under its median ZEstimate!
I don’t see it selling unless seller
1. Paints the house a lighter shade of pale
2. Paints the kawlums to match the house.
Right now it looks, um… tacky.
