Sorry about the late post. Damned guest posters don’t know how to use WordPress properly. /snark

“On a corner of a busy street. Backyard access is through the garage.”
It’s on a corner lot, and the only access to the backyard is through the garage? Surrounded by a concrete sound wall, maybe? Definite plus for concrete lovers.

#1, you are so late, the house was delisted a week ago…
July 5th, 2011 at 9:36 am
Too late, it’s listing expired! Now you’ll have to buy a house with a lawn then back up a giant cement truck and spatter the front lawn with a sticky, sloppy load.

Scrap concrete prices are through the roof right now. I’d buy the house just to flip the concrete to a recycling center.
Alternatively, perhaps Hoffa is buried under the driveway at this house? If true, it would make this house a historical site and significantly increase its value.

SamAdu, didn’t you say you’re from Ghana? Not many native Ghanans familiar with Jimmy Hoffa. He’s been missing/dead only 36 years.
Time to do the laundry. Socks are all over the place.

Ghana = Detroit?

As an aside, when I first looked at the above map, S.King road dyslexified into SKid road in my brain. I was going to be super delighted with the entertainment value before my eyes finally decided to work right. Instead, I am just delighted in the junks burbed.com brings to our attention every day.

So this is a foreclosure flip with CHERRY cabinet? Sold for $198,000 in 1999 and probably worth about that.

Bummer this house has only one “CHERRY cabinet”. I wonder if the rest are that natural stained oak that was popular in the 80′s.

#6, do you really suppose RE successfully hid his wit all this time, only to come out as SamAdu now?
July 5th, 2011 at 2:08 pm
Muh? Whuh? Oh, sorry teacher I was sleeping … yes, um, what business would I start? Crack house!

6: Ghana is not Gilroy! I know it may be hard to believe but we did have televisions out there…even in the 70s.
#11: I resent that comparison to Real Estater! I love that guy?/girl?/enigma but I am in no way nearly as omniscient about housing prices as REer.
#s 1 through 12 (excluding #5): I am disgusted that nobody praised or responded to the merits of buying the home up and then recycling all that concrete for some quick instant equity.
July 5th, 2011 at 3:16 pm
#13 : That’s because some ideas are too ridiculous for even burbed to find funny.
July 5th, 2011 at 3:38 pm
#13, #11 was in reference to the other active thread. I was defending you under the pretense that your posts are sarcastic.

Oh good, RE/Sam stepped right into the trap. Again.
Nomadic, I am not a number! I am a free man! Yes, RE shows occasional wit. But usually he can’t resist chance to puff himself up. And look stupid.
Sam, you expect me to believe Ghana television stations covered Jimmy Hoffa story? In the ’70′s? I am very amused.
Also today’s house is amusing too.
July 5th, 2011 at 5:29 pm
Evergreen community? but of course. It’s like saying that RE actually lives in Atherton and does not need to borrow other people’s pools when it gets too hot (literally or figuratively)

Good god, there is a river of blood running alongside that house.
