Actually, other than these somewhat hideous chairs, I’m having trouble coming up with much else to complain about this listing.  It isn’t too small, or too old, or next to the freeway.  It doesn’t look like it’s only being held together with three layers of Extra-Lead gloss paint last applied in 1949. It isn’t even a thousand dollars a foot, like some small homes in this perennially overpriced city.

That means this is as close to a DEAL in Palo Alto as you’re ever going to find.  On MLS for more than a week, so I suggest you start overbidding immediately.

Other than the price, it looks like quite a deal.

Sure, if you don’t mind the Safeway 18-wheelers and the backyard neighbors (renters!)

    Walking distance to Star Bucks.

It’s the size of a typical apartment, on a lot 50% of the size it “should” be. It will cost the buyer about $4,000/month to live in (mortgage plus property tax). And it’s on the wrong side of Middlefield.

Hmm 18-wheelers and homeless ex-engineers, now looking like mountain men and smelling like bears, what’s not to like? And it’s under $1000/sf so it needs to be bid back up to over $1000/sf which will put it back in the RBA (remember that old rule?)

And occasional visit by felon at backyard. Life cannot be more exciting here!

Pending with release after 12 days (of Christmas).
