Castles in the Air… or at least in Castro Valley

Here’s another vaguely castle-like home from Burbed reader Tracy.  See how many castle-ish amenities you can identify.

Custom home located in a nice quiet Castro Vally neighborhood. Has possible in-law or 6th bedroom. 6th bedroom. Great amenities throughout the home. Must see to appreciate!

I’ll spot you one: It used to be worth a lot more money.  Or at least not a lot more money.  It sold in 2004 for $1,375,000.  Then again, the overbidding could have taken this baby right back to where it should be.  If you’re not sure where it should be, check out the similarly sized castle across the street.

I just don’t understand why the place priced at $790k went pending before the place priced at $1,985k. Who wants to double a small amount of money when a larger amount is available? CRAZY.

Holy crap, I never knew that the Icy Hot Stuntaz were from Castro Valley!

I love that “6th bedroom” is mentioned twice in the copy…because in a place that size, it’s the SIXTH room that’s really going to sell it. Man, if only I had a 7th room, now THAT would be worth a lot of $$!

Amazing! I want frame the picture of 2004 buyer with title “I told you, home price always goes up!”

I know these homes are nowhere near the RBA, but look at the street name! That alone should make it attractive to somebody!

“I know these homes are nowhere near the RBA”

I’m sure that’s what the 2004 buyer was thinking.
