Bits of character in (North) Willow Glen that need your touch
Sometimes we’ll run a few ginormous homes with even more WTF price tags, but here at Burbed we never forget our roots. This blog was founded on small homes at big prices in poor condition, and Burbed reader sonarrat certainly has found two out of three.

Here’s why sonarrat sent in this charmer!
this is stick built? Really?
I think you must have misheard the agent. This house is sick-built. Although I like the “bunus” in the bathroom where the realtard couldn’t be bothered to move the trash can out of the photo.
And of course it’s an REO! If you wanted to buy it from the previous owners, you could have done so last year for just $299,000. But we can all enjoy these pictures instead of the boring ones the bank put up. (Thanks so much to Movoto, for not updating the listing despite it being canceled a year ago!)
Here’s the listing copy that went with the house when this was a regular sale:
Great starter home in Willow Glen neighborhood. Walk to Lincoln Avenue restaurants and shops. Manicured backyard with giant avacado tree! Spa in backyard too! Can’t beat the price! Move-in ready. Priced to sell FAST!
I really like that the exact same shot of the bathroom yields no trash can, but the toilet seat is up.

Walk to Lincoln Avenue restaurants and shops.
It’s only a mile but it could get a little scary if you’re a woman alone.

#1- For only $350k you’d better stay locked up at home, with the alarm set.
“I really like that the exact same shot of the bathroom yields no trash can, but the toilet seat is up.”
no trash can? It seems your eyes cannot get past the toilet seat.

Wow, $299k up to $344k in just a year? Happy days are here again! Buy it and flip it in a year for half a mil!

It’s subliminal. Are you “trash”? Here’s a house where even you can live. Come on, it’s okay because it’s not too fancy.
And despite the hype, Willow Glen is still such a dump that probably no one will notice the latest strung out quote owners unquote of of this little stretch of Delmas.

$299k was a short sale fantasy price. The bank foreclosed at $314k.

Fantasy price? The over-bidding brings the price right where it needs to be.

Okay, there is a trash can discretely tucked behind the crapper in the regular/short sale photo. That’s not the same as making it the focal point of the REO Speedbathroom shot, where it’s in the center and the only color in the picture. Sheesh.

#7- People, like trash cans, are discrete.

My spelling degrades when I am dealing with the DMV. Funny how that works.

When was the last time we heard from WillowGlenner? I wonder what he would say about this one. What could you rent it for?
And hey, I want to see that spa they mention! But it’s so clean you can’t WAIT to jump in naked!

This lot is outside of WG’s parameter of 8k+.
You know, this not RBA. Also, as you know, this place could go down 50%+, but any place nearby in the RBA continues to double.

Still looking fot those bits of….charm….love that.

Another slow day in RBA land…
