Spring has Sprung, The Price has Riz
Hope you’re heading out to look at Open Houses now that we’ve officially entered the Spring Selling Season! Oh, what’s that? Spring Selling Season doesn’t start until after Easter? Well, dang.
Why don’t you instead do some window shopping? Here you can admire this waterfront property in Washington State while you try to find an open house a little closer to home. Thanks to Burbed reader SEA for mentioning this one in comments yesterday.
11718 Possession Lane
Edmonds, WA 98026
$625,000
Bunus: Stupid street name is stupid, too. This is an open thread.

So Seattle wants to be part of the RBA again? Mortgage rates are up so it’s time for the region to expand. Meanwhile we are priced out forever.

Been There, Saw That.
Meanwhile, house maintenance is becoming easier and cheaper.

It’s pretty close to downtown Seattle, but… You could get a condo with the same view and actual lot and house size for less.
I never understood it, and I grew up out there.

Obviously the potential buyers do understand it, as shown by the 791 days this property’s been waiting for a suitor.

The realtor is just marketing this property all wrong. She should be emphasizing the ease with which this shipwreck can be explored, and the abundance of antiques and driftwood that come with purchase.

When I saw the price, plus the requirement of having to buy another lot, the first thing that came to mind was all the hidden treasure, oro.
My next question was how much acetylene would it take to clean all the wrecks up?
How many shipwrecks are there?

I am not priced out forever. As of last week I am a bitter renter no longer. 🙂
