Are you ready for 2012 – you know, end of the world and all that?
2166 UNIVERSITY Ave
East Palo Alto, CA 94303$650,000
Well well well. What do we have here.
Are you ready for the end of the world? Do you own this home? Hint: The answers are connected.
In particular, I love the idea that this place has a 3 car garage with half bath. Now that’s a survivalist ready for action.
I bet that wood fence is actually hardened steel with a birch veneer (from Ikea). You should see if you can get the survivalist vehicles that are parked there to be included with the house!
Are you ready for the end of times? Well, if you had this house, you would.

$650K in a neighborhood, where bullet cases rolling on street is a regular phenomena and most of the homes are selling for $200-300K range!
See, it’s not just some homedebtor in Palo Alto hoping for Facebook wealth trickling down in his real estate. Even East Palo Alto homedebtors started thinking same way. Did someone say Facebook wealth is going to raise ALL the boats?

Not to mention burglary. I know a few folks who’ve bought in EPA and every single one has had their place broken into.

Of course, the bad news is I am now officially priced out of East Palo Alto.

There’s a reason why E-PA exists – so that PA doesn’t have to share that nice tax revenue with where all their servants live.

You can get a really nice updated 3/2 on a landscaped acre in Sebastopol for that price. Of course you would be living in western Sonoma County instead of a vibrant urban setting like EPA…

Not to mention driving 90 minutes to/from work, Tom.
