Today’s featured house convenient to, well, everything (how much more central can you get than the Street of Kings?). Plus, by only including one photo the agent has made it easy for you to review this listing as quickly as possible. Not only that, this house is even more Special than you think. It’s been on Burbed before!
Wow, you can buy it for less than its 2009 asking price, despite it being in the middle of a red-hot market. And that’s an old asking price, because the home was delisted the day before it appeared here back in 2009.
Also we just had to sneak in this really old listing picture from when it sold in 2000. For $535,000. Think of how much this place is really worth now! And there’s more good news! The Redfin agent has done the legwork so you don’t have to.
This location is perfect. If you don’t already have four cars, step next door and buy them.
Don’t like what they’re selling next door? No problem at all! Just head across the street to the CalTrain station and check out what’s chillin’.
Look, you’re a busy person. This house has a four car garage. That works out to 25 years per covered parking space. Now that’s a DEAL.

I am in awe of the listing copy. It deserves a burbed writing award.

Can I watch the loons on my commercial zoon?

“Community: Belmont Country Club” – REALLY?

#2, check with the city ordiance.

I’ve been curious about this for a long time. It could be a good place for an artist or someone who can make use of a street presence since it is prominent on ECR and from the train right by the station, even. Many times I have gone by and heard the sound of loud electronic guitar practice which makes me wonder what exactly is going on with the residents. There might be an interesting story to tell there, or more than one.

it sounds fab! my dream house has certain requirements:
- not surrounded too closely by other houses – check!
- wide, expansive view – check!
- parking & storage – check!
- zoon – check! (i don’t know what that is, but now i want one)
too bad it’s mucked up by that little strip of heaven called ECR.
the listing may have been written by the realtor’s 7 year old nephew. it’s scary to think that someone could be illiterate, yet still pass the realtor’s exam (good luck having him review your sale T&Cs). but, stranger things have happened.

This house hit on a number of things that made it Special. I just added the satellite view and streetview tags. Too bad it isn’t being sold As-Is.
Yeah, a house on ECR across the street from the CalTrain station in “Belmont Country Club.” That’s so #winning. Ya think the house earns the “misleading” tag too?

This would be a really special property in New York City! Just the parking alone is worth the value of a small business, and parking fees go up just like rent.

“good luck having him review your sale T&Cs”
->”Just sign here and everything will be just fine.”

Belmont is the Manhasset of New York City.

You’re going to want that garage space, ’cause you won’t want to park outside! …Or do much of anything outside.
Those yeah, it would make a great home for an artist or some other homecraft sort.
…Where’d it pick up the extra garage and lose two bedrooms, you think? ^-^

Who would want to live next to that, maybe except the owner of the car sale shop?

Belmont is a poor man’s Burlingame. School scores are no good.
June 14th, 2012 at 5:58 pm
Yeah, other than that, this house is swell!
July 10th, 2012 at 10:48 pm
After being briefly reduced to $619, it is now $619,000. New agent too.

I was going to commend the vastly improved language skills of the new agent, but the house still has commercia zooning.
