This home exudes fun and charm
Let’s head up north again, where Burbed reader Tom Paine has another catastrophic cottage in Cotati! Actually this may be the first property of any type in Cotati ever featured on Burbed. And if you object that Cotati is awfully far for a daily commute to Google, Apple, or Facebook you’d be right. But if you’ve been working at one of those firms long enough, you could buy this place for cash and spend your day redecorating.

I love how the agent eases the viewer into the interior shots by alternating them with outside shots at first. I kind of feel sorry for her.
Bunus: the shrubs in front are almost like hairy green “mawbul kawlums.”

I bet whoever buys it takes it down to the studs and makes Google, Facebook and Apple rooms.

damn! you beat me to commenting on the green kawlums in front.
- again, what’s with all the f&*#ing pix of toilets? i get it, bathrooms have toilets. and as usual, the toilets are the best part of those hideous rooms.
- i assume they cleaned up & de-cluttered before the pix were taken? yishhh…
- i prefer a coati; maybe i can find a coati from cotati.

Pasture is codeword for next week’s subdevelopment.

Hey now, be nice until we’ve observed a moment of silence here. It’s pretty obvious someone’s grandparents died to bring us this house.
(Big house in the middle of nowhere: Check; Kitschy decor composed of roughly equal parts mismatched antiques and retro reproductions: Check; Strange bulbous classic car parked in a cluttered garage decorated with gas station memorabilia: Check; RV parking: DOUBLE CHECK…)

I do appreciate the spanish arches hiding the otherwise boring ranch house, but the ad copy is pretty misleading to say ‘pasture’ when it’s surrounded by other homes which might decide to cut down the trees like they did and fence it in leaving you in a tiny bare spot of earth with no water or shade.

The essence of whine country living!

“Pasture” just means it exudes more than just fun and charm; add aroma too.

Fail because no one knows where Cotati is.
June 26th, 2012 at 9:31 pm
No one knows where Gilroy is, either.

Who is this “no one” that knows so much?

Romanesque! Spanish arches hiding behind the hedge. might decide to cut down the trees…
