Holy Color Purple, Batman!
One thing we all love on Burbed is real estate photography. We’ve had photos of just the floor, photos of messy rooms, photos of questionable decor, and photos of more toilets than you could shake a scrub brush at. But today’s featured property looks at those fine examples of photo fail and says, “Oh yeah? I can beat THAT.”
Thanks very much to Burbed reader DavidDavidDavid for today’s spectacular colorburst in San Carlos!

Not only do you get purple rain with this house, but it’s located on the corner of two of the busiest streets in San Carlos. So you also get fire engines, buses, and hours of idling traffic. Enough CO for everyone! Woot!

I agree, the lawn does need some water.

That’s funny, I saw this listing yesterday and was about to send it in. This is proof that they sky actually is a different color in someone else’s world!

That HDR’s not as bad as most on here, I think there were high hazy clouds (note the unevenness in the sky) and a slight color enhancement was enough to tip things over into Purpleville.

This is what my Chernobyl nightmares looked like when was a kid.

Originally HDR photos merely used a higher range for contrast, resulting in this sort of look. But that was a software adaption before the HDR we see more often, which is the result of special jpging in the camera core itself.
But the white balance should totally not be off. o-o

They got tired of all the tagging and graffiti, so they spray-painted it…. whatever shade of awful that is, to get the jump on the neighborhood.
