House has been on the market for 122 days.
If you look at the price history, 3 price reductions, and now today they suddenly raise the price.
Logically, if they had offers at the last price, it would have sold, so why raise the price again?
LOL i know, this market is ridiculous!
WOW! Good thing we’ve got some “Agent Insight” to help you decide if this is a good choice.

Um, we can see that in the picture, Keith. But, um, thanks. Meanwhile, check out the price history!

WOW! How’s that price increase working? Does it make this house even more Special?

Way to cram a pool on a small lot. Bravo.

it may be in SJ, but the agent understands the power of key words – “Mountain Views”… heh heh… MTV is the center of the universe, no matter where you stand!
are those beer bottles lined up in the high window above the foyer? klassy!
wedding photo above the fireplace; fits in well with the rest of the 1970s decor.
lots of lovely floral fabric draped all over the master bed & bath. grandma must be proud.

MTV is indeed the center of the Universe for foreigners with suitcases full of cash.

I don’t think those are beer bottles; they’re the folds of more oh-so-lovely ’80s-style sheer curtains.
Why the hell do/did so many builders get so freakin’ lazy and not put an actual door between the master bedroom and bathroom? Do couples really get up at the same time every morning? Is this a California thing? I never saw it in Michigan.

Why would you need a door between the bath and bedroom, aside from steam abatement?

I think nomadic is implying that you’d want to protect your spouse from the noise of you showering or blow drying your hair. How nice, but I figure since I had to get out of bed, my husband can put up with the sound of me getting dressed while he snoozes, small price to pay for more shut eye.
Still, I would at least want a pocket door or something.

I don’t know Crissa. How about lights, hair dryer, other assorted annoying noise while one person is getting ready for work and the other is trying to sleep? Or a problem with lights on late at night when half of the couple is sleeping.

You left out fume abatement.

This house was bought, flipped, priced and now has raised the price 450K in the two months it has been on the market. This mystifys me! I saw this wonderful house before it was fixed up and the same office representing it now convinced me it would be impossible to redo, it was a tear down!I always wonder about houses that go up in price when they don’t sell.
September 10th, 2012 at 6:10 pm
oops meant $50K not 450

This is why.
September 10th, 2012 at 8:37 pm
At that point, why don’t you just use the hall bathroom? What’s the point of it being in the bedroom if the space isn’t open?
September 10th, 2012 at 9:43 pm
Seriously? LOL, I want an en suite bathroom; not one IN the bedroom. But hey, to each his (or her) own.

Okay, but I’ve never seen one without a door or occlusion for shower/toilet. That’s a step too far.
