A Pink Palace in Milpitas with tons of possibilities
We’ve mentioned a few times that this site’s founder, burbed, has a jones for pink houses. Today’s house is pink… but only on the inside. Open wide, say Ahhh, and and have a look at this marvelous maison in Milpitas! Thanks very much to Burbed reader Tracy Tea House for sending in this rancho rosa real.

Here’s what Tracy thought about the decor.
Wow so nice and in Milpitas too. Yeah, it’s a little close to 680, but all in all seems pleasant enough. I am sending this house to you because of the decorating. I didn’t even see the inside of the house, I was too distracted by the pastel color schemes…
This house is 26 years old? This dining room reminds me of some model condos we toured back in 1984. So that means the current owners were only two years behind the latest decorating trends… assuming they never updated another thing once they furnished this home.
Providentially, there’s plenty more pink photos to peruse. Please, enjoy them after the break.

There’s plenty more pink bling to be found, so head over to the listing and play a round of Where’s Waldo’s Wash After We Laundered his Pullover and Beanie with the Whites.

The man of the house must be colorblind, and the little lady likes to remember the “good old days.”
Here is one reason I like to move often. I don’t want to get stuck in an era.

The interior screams “Income doesn’t matter.”

I’m kind of in love with the master bedroom with the pink and grey theme.

Pic #16 (lower left above): “We don’t have a queen size bed, so let’s put a twin bed sideways and throw a bunch of pillows on top and let they buyer’s imagination go wild.”

Didn’t we see that master bedroom in The Shining (the original with Jack Nicholson)?

Are 8s in prices now a thing in Milpitas?

It reminds me of an exchange in the play/movie “Steel Magnolias” between Julia Roberts and Sally Field:
Truvy: What are your colors Shelby?
Shelby: Blush and Bashful.
M’Lynn: Her colors are pink and pink.
Shelby: My colors are blush and bashful. I have chosen two shades of pink, one is much deeper than the other.
M’Lynn: Oh how precious is this wedding going to get, I ask you? That sanctuary looks like it’s been hosed down with Pepto Bismol.

good gawd the only things in the entire house from this decade are the newish washer/dryer.
all that hideousness for twice not-a-lotta-money?!? i don’t know if it’s a scam or the bargain of the century. it’d make a great movie set, if they ever make a sequel to Boogie Nights.

Pink & black was quite the thing in the ’80s. But geeze, talk about a time warp!

Madhaus, yes, 8s in prices have been common in Milpitas for a while. There’s many Chinese immigrants living there.
