The bad news: We lost to Connecticut. Connecticut? Haven’t they been in the news enough already?

Which of those does San Mateo county fall into – SF? Because if that’s the case you just know that Oakland is bringing down our beloved Woodside’s percentage.

Yes, San Mateo County is part of SF-Oakland-Fremont. SJ Metro only gets Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. Drawing the line between Menlo Park and Palo Alto seems a little abrupt.

madhaus, true. what you really want is a 650 area code all-star team.
you could start Atherton, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Woodside. Los Altos and Portola Valley could be on your traveling team, leaving Burlingame, Mountain View and one of the Sans (Carlos or Mateo) to round out your bench.
all of the other communities should be cut or traded for a sprinkles cupcake.
