Does anybody remember the story from the late 90s about a house on Leghorn Street that was listed for $3m? It had something to do with a divorce. Yes, it sounds like an urban legend. But wait!

“Still some sellers are holding onto 2000 ideas of what a property is worth. Another agent pointed to a Leghorn Street property in Mountain View that has been on the market since 1996. The deal-killer is the asking price: $3 million where the median price for homes is the mid-$600,000s.

This seller is missing an opportunity, to highlight that this is on a street with a $3m house.

They missed that it’s close to Google!

Why is a commercial property listed as “detatched single family home?” Why is it on Redfin at all? What’s the point of the open house? So many questions.

Bonus nostalgia for the pink bathroom tile – just as I remember my parent’s bathroom tile.

  5. Foghorn Says:

I will buy it right away if I can build an access ramp from the back yard to 101. When you are that close to the main Silicon valley artery, anything less is a crime.

  6. Kayla Says:

I think the $3M place on Leghorn is the one that’s basically in the Costco parking lot, right? They’re not going anywhere till some corporation shells out.

I think it’s the aerial shots that make this listing really special.

    Pending!
