IDEAL FOR CREATIVE VISIONARIES! CHARMING, QUIET NEIGBORHOOD IN CUPTERINO SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE HOME IS BEING SOLD “AS IS”. DON’T MISS OUT ON ALL THIS HOME COULD BE. CLOSE TO SHOPPING AND FREEWAYS

Silicon Valley is full of visionaries. Full of them. Every time you turn the corner, walk into a Philz, you’re bound to bump into at least 328 visionaries.

This realtor also clearly has vision. Let’s take a look:

You have to admit – that arm in with green sleeve in shot is pretty ground breaking. Think Different!

I love the staging in this shot. Ironing board. Mattress. Window with no coverings. I think the only reason this isn’t in the SF MoMa right now is because it’s closed for construction!

And finally, who can deny the vision of this shot: “Giant Red Bed with Camera Strap”

But enough of this realtor’s visionary artistic skills. It’s your turn.

How will you sculpt these pieces of clay into an elegant tapestry? [Bonus points for the first person to get the reference.]

The only thing missing from the bed is a big turd.

    Voila! Masterpiece!

  2. InTheBiz Says:

The sculptor Rosalie Gascoigne! Yes! Of course! Never heard of her!

How do I collect my bonus points?

  3. Gallileo Says:

What we have here is 1/100th of a DHO.

And people say that Real Estate agents aren’t improving.

  4. maryjane Says:

Is that a box spring serving as a headboard?

  5. InTheBiz Says:

It’s a rental, according to the MLS. Rent is $1260, maybe half the current market value, which means it’s been their home for years.

    Sold in eight days.

This is classic burbed. Haven’t laughed so hard in awhile, thanks.

  7. Jelena Says:

It is not the arm, it is partial buttock with fancy ruffled green underwear. Gotta match fancy home!

Guys, now is your chance to buy Twitter. Don’t listen to the distractors. Buy at the bottom, now!

This is why I read Burbed. Thanks!!!

Some great stories of overcoming the overbidding marketplace.

    From the article:
“Do your homework,” Chang said. “There are differences in neighborhoods. It may not be a big deal, but it can take away some of the fear, so you can feel comfortable with what your options are. You may need to be open to more options.”

    Can anyone translate that gibberish?

Meanwhile, the tips can be boiled down thus:
    1) try to make an offer before the house is listed.
    2) be the highest bidder and let the sellers stay (rent-free, of course!) as long as they want.
    3) make a really high cash offer with extra money provided to you by your rich kids who cashed out on an IPO.
    4) take your lousy $2M budget and get the hell out of PA and MP. Go to Los Altos where the poor people belong.
