All of these things are very true. The deck is very new – it’s about 4 inches above the concrete patio – so you can have a soaring view over the ants. The yard is also very new – very freshly sodded.
Also, “completely redone” means that the inside has a lot of new paint. And I mean, a lot of paint. Like… a lot of paint. Actually, the outside has a lot of paint too… and I mean, a lot of paint. As in “redone in paint”.
Unfortunately, someone tried painting over the holes in the wall along the heating registers from 1958 – an apparent attempt to violate the laws of physics. This paint must also have some bonding capabilities as it is used to seal a very peculiar possible crack in the wall in the master bedroom. Washer and Dryer were coveniently removed so that you could investigate the plumbing for yourself, and the very exposed water heater was conveniently located off the kitchen for all to see. Perhaps it’s a post-modern design?
The garage was pretty large, but locked and had a lot of new paint. Like a lot of paint. A lot a lot of paint. I wonder if the garage is actually just solid paint.
I’d say that this $858,000 home is great for tearing down – you probably just need some paint thinner and to lean on the wall of the bedroom – except that there are some new features. The front door looks like it is new – and it might be worth saving for reuse as a side door to the garage later on. A $75 value. (I think I had seen a door like that back when I worked in a trailer.) Also the hardwood floor might be new.

BTW, when you drive to this house, you’ll notice some “street art” (also known as grafiti) along Marsh Rd that proclaims what territory this area belongs to. Unfortunately, I’m not an expert in this topic – perhaps somone else can explain what that means.
This article does have some clues: Driver Stable After Menlo Park Shooting
A man is in stable condition after people in two cars shot at him several times while he was driving in Menlo Park early this morning, police said.
Menlo Park police Sgt. Matt Bacon said at 12:15 a.m. the San Mateo County gang task force called in reports of gunshots near the area of Marsh Road and Bayfront Expressway.
Soon after, a witness in the area of Willow Road and Bayfront Expressway reported hearing gunshots as well, according to police.
Arriving officers found a vehicle facing east on Bayfront Expressway just east of Willow Road. The car was unoccupied and had been shot several times. In addition, police said they found shell casings from different caliber weapons in the immediate area.
About 30 minutes later, police learned that a male gunshot victim arrived at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward.
The man told police he exited U.S. Highway 101 at Marsh Road when two cars appeared and people inside started firing at his vehicle.
