A sky created by god himself looms over a priceless piece of real estate
Today’s Adventure in Real Estate Photography takes us to the always popular City of Sunnyvale (motto: Costs More than Santa Clara). Let’s see what Burbed reader shandrew has lassoed for us in the listings.

MLS#: 81238090Beautiful home in PRIME Sunnyvale! Cherry Chase (966 API), Sunnyvale (843 API) and Homestead (866). Nicely landscaped spacious lot. New paint and carpet. Crown. Dbl pane windows. Recessed lights, hardwood floors. Remodeled kitchen & baths. Spacious master suite with a tub in the master bath! Living AND family AND dining AND casual dining areas! North facing. Regular sale-NOT short sale or REO.
Here’s what shandrew had to say about this property:
Check out the clouds over this house in PRIME Sunnyvale!
Compare photos 1 (above) and 22 (below), and you’ll see miraculous clouds that are precisely identical whether viewed straight on from the front of the house or viewed
to the side of the backyard.
Then take a careful look at some of the trees which apparently have
been consumed by these vicious clone army of clouds.
Clouds which consume trees are apparently good for property values.
We think those clouds look like a flock of pterodactyls, which is why the trees were eaten so quickly (between picture 21 and 22). These leaves haven’t even had time to fall down after the ptero-cirrus swooped down and chowed on the branches.
Yet the same clouds show up in the
time it took the agent to install a for sale sign. Compare this picture of the front of the house with the first one.
There’s only one good explanation for this.
Pterodactyls helped install the sign.

When ctar sent this find to burbed, here was the accompanying commentary:
sold long before we could get to it. What do you think the lucky new owner is going to do with this vintage decor? We’d be disappointed if the house got flipped, because the current fixtures are so full of win.

Here’s what wahnny had to say about why this building block became Burbed:
601 W REMINGTON Dr
New bamboo floors inside? It’s the outside you need to be taking a good look at. That hedge along the front wall will satisfy your need for tree-like objects without any objectionable tree-like behaviors.

And this is why ChinoBoy was kind enough to share:

It’s time to put on your hemp sandals and splash with a bit of patchouli oil, because we’re driving the VW Microbus up the long and winding road to a groovy getaway. Thanks very much to mystic crystal hip chick and Burbed reader Tracy Tea House for this

Your geodesic dome has efficient wood heating, solar hot water, R30 insulation, PGandE bills of less than $60/month!! 164 acres feels like a kingdom. Great potential for horses, vineyards, hiking or just getting away to relax. Wonderful decks for entertaining. Outstanding views. Los Gatos Schools. Please do not drive-by.
I just love a good dome! This one features… Logging roads! Don’t drive by. In fact if this was my dome, I might never be able to leave. I’d get a few horses, some vineyards and watch the view. Working in the valley… forget about it. At 999 it’s a little high for a second mountain home, maybe when it gets down to 888???
A little high. Snort. Don’t bogie the bong. Share. Peace, man.

The listing history might inspire you. They took an interesting approach to getting RBA returns – just HELOC it out and do a short sale for 2x the purchase price after 13 years – I wonder how much they sucked out. (After all, they won’t actually get the purchase value back out.) I remember them trying to sell at the peak prices just after the real estate crash and thinking “good luck with that.”
Uh, yeah. Good luck with that. But on the upside, if you’ve always wanted a pony, this place is horsie-ready should your magical fairy godmother ever come through with those wishes.

cute & cozy home near schools, Safeway, restaurant, transportation & Burlingame shpping area. Livin rm w/ woodburing frplc, spacious formal dining, updated kit w/ eating area, 2 bedrm both are master suite, plus a den( Can be used as a play rm or office ) separate parking garage. Crown molding, hardwd flr throughout, recess lighting in the den, separate laundry rm w/ 0.5 bath. Needs TLC. Great flr plan.
The dining room has a cooler on wheels with a coffee pot atop, but the kitchen features a recumbant pineapple. Keep looking through the photos, because there’s lots more to find in this Burlingame bungalow! Does this property merit a Good Housekeeping tag of approval, or does the owner merely have a whimsical way with staging?

Here’s why bmwman91 shared this house with us:
There’s a few more names that pop up as you zoom in, but nothing for the area bounded by Hamilton, Leigh, Curtner, and Meridian. We’re going to go with Cambrian with Campbell-San Jose as a second choice. Maybe even Dry Creek. But Willow Glen? We don’t think so, unless it’s this not-Willow Glen neighborhood called “Willow Glen South Lincoln Glen.” You know, where they have to point out it’s a REG Sale.
It’s been too long since we’ve checked in with Burbed reader Tracy Tea House and her amazing collection of what-the-heck-is-THATs from the East Side.

Put your best foot forward, invite the reader into your book with a great cover photo, you’ve got one chance to make a great first impression so always lead your listing with a terrific all-over picture of the house. A photo of the house. Not a photo of the flyer for the house. Wow, this is worse than confusing Call by Name with Call by Value. And in this listing the facade shot at left doesn’t appear until the fourth photo, but don’t worry, the agent put in another one right next to it in case you skip past.
Different first photo, plus photos of school signs (this one is second)
