There’s going to be very very little traffic going donw that street, so it’ll be incredibly private. And look! Your neighbor appears to collect historic cars – can you say culture?

Your best bet probably is buy this house, and build a new two story house on the lot, much like the neighbors down the street did.

Sure that’ll effectively double the cost of this house that you’re buying… but guess what! You live on College Ave. Nothing will help your children get into a great school like living on a street called College Ave. It’ll be like a constant reminder that they need to study for the SAT’s!

Let’s face it, all the time people are looking for the unique house… Just think, you could live like a dictator… in Milpitas! Just think of all the weapons of mass destruction you can pretend to own and hide in the house. And remember, this is not a short sale and not an REO.

My oh my. What a peculiar find.

For the past few years, Bay Area real estate ads have been missing the chutzpah, the bravado, the essence, the soul that it used to have. Whatever happened to the good old days when Sellers could require Buyers to sign contracts saying they would feed the neighborhood squirrels… or to undergo a background check to ensure they have the right character to own your condo… or to have the buyer’s children paint them a picture.

Well… if this house is a sign of the times, then good times are coming back.

Let’s face it… nothing drives buyers more crazy than being told they can’t have something – and that’s what this house is doing. It’s a big ol’ F you to the buyer. And the buyer will want it even more.

And, that it is on track to reach that magically doubling number – if it weren’t for the pesky economic woes we have right now.

It’s listed at 140K above it’s zestimate and and you’ll have to pay about 100 more per sq ft for the 94536 to live in this one.   But who knows.  The house is fit for the Mona Lisa, it may be fit for someone as special as me!

The cat guarding the “original owner’s” valued Betty Boop collection is also a nice touch.  50x scale posters of drinks is always a plus. This listing makes a good argument for keeping the camera on the curb.

Indeed, the ZEstimate is just $524,500. But as we know, ZEstimates tend to undervalue Bay Area (even non-RBA) properties because they don’t have a model to account for specialness.
